There are many different definitions and interpretations of what poetry is or should be. For Glen, it was a difficult process of tapping into the depths of his mind and then extracting and reflecting emotions in the words as he journeyed through beauty and darkness of Cambodia and his own life. His words are not written for poets, but to the ordinary reader who may be able to identify with his journey.
